Today, the news scene in America is vastly different, with newspapers shrinking or disappearing entirely, new online news startups coming on the scene, and social media growing exponentially. We’ll see how things have changed in Rhode Island. Three chefs in Rhode Island are nominated for the James Beard award, the most prestigious award a chef can win. We’ll introduce you to one of them. And we’ll hear about handicrafts from a group of Afghan refugees in New Bedford.
