Last year, 60% of Providence’s recycling was so contaminated it had to be thrown in the landfill. But Providence isn’t the only city with recycling problems. About a dozen other cities and towns struggle with putting the right things in the blue bin. And then there are some places who never see their recycling sent to the dump. Why? We look at a recycling inspection program in Central Falls that’s seen some success.
