The New England Patriots are going back to the Super Bowl. They beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-to-20 Sunday night at Foxboro Stadium.
The Patriots trailed for most of the game until quarterback Tom Brady completed a pass to wide receiver Danny Amendola with just under three minutes remaining.
Amendola credits the come-back win to Brady, who played with stitches in his right hand.
“It’s hard to throw a football with stitches in your thumb,” said Amendola. “Not only is he the best player in our locker room but he gets everyone else to play well.”
The Patriots have one more game this season – Super Bowl 52 against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 4.
