Do you support trucking tolls for tractor trailers on Rhode Island highways?

  1. I do not support truck tolls although I do think we need to work on our roads and infrastructure I feel that the cost of the tolls will only be passed on to Rhode Islanders through increased cost of the good they are transporting, therefore negatively impacting all of us directly

Would you support a state-mandated health insurance program?

  1. I would be in favor of a state mandated health insurance if it was affordable. I believe everyone should get the benefits of health care without astronomical premiums.

Are you in favor of expanding protections against sexual harassment to include domestic workers (such as nannies) and volunteers (such as interns)?

  1. Yes I believe everyone should be protected against any type of harassment and we should take whatever measures necessary to achieve this.

If given the opportunity, would you codify the right to have an abortion in state law?

  1. I believe abortion should be up the person. I however do not believe it should be used as a form of birth control. I don’t think we should be able to dictate what a female has to do with her body

Is the state doing enough to help people who have been left behind by the economy? If not, what additional steps should be taken?

  1. No absolutely not. I feel that the average person falls between the cracks when they are left behind due to the economy. I believe services should be more readily available when needed whether through assistance with utilities of assistance with rent/mortgage payments on a short term basis. By the time you get the assistance it could already have been after several weeks if not longer only pushing you further in the hole.

Does primary education need to be improved statewide? If so, how?

  1. Yes It does I believe there is too much time spent on preparing the children for certain tests rather than teaching. I Believe that The class sizes are too big and I and the kids that struggle get left behind. I think smaller class sizes would be a big help.
